.

Exceptions The meeting is not held when the room is needed by the church, which includes

statutory holidays and a few other days. For news of closings, check the main website. For Medallions,

we often have an Open Speaker meeting, so that we can invite family and friends.

.

The Noon Rap Group was founded in 1990 to fill a unique place in Toronto. It's purpose is to give the many people who work in the downtown area a place where they could attend discussion groups 3 times a week on their lunch hour. Because of work schedules, many members are unable to come for the full hour, or to commit themselves to chair. So, for those who have the time at that hour of the day, it provides an exceptional chance to perform service.

HOW TO FIND US

The meetings are wheelchair accessible.

We meet in the Great Hall of St. Andrew's Church on Simcoe St. just south of King St. West. The entrance is a side entrance of the Church on Simcoe St., across the street from the entrance of Roy Thomson Hall.

Getting There by TTC

From the St. Andrew TTC subway station, use the southwest exit. Walk two blocks west on King St., past the doors shown on the picture below, then turn left at Simcoe St., and walk about 50 metres to the open gate. In bad weather, the Path (the underground route that links buildings in that area) lets out across the street from the meeting. From the subway, take the passage to Roy Thomson Hall, use the Simcoe Street exit, and cross the street to the open gate.

Gratitude

We are grateful to the church and staff that this facility is available at lunch hour close to the workplace of many people who need it. Please respect the requests of the church. They ask that there is no smoking in the church, on the property of the church, or even on the sidewalk outside the church. They have asked us to keep cigarette butts off the sidewalk, as they must clean there as well. There are no bicycles or pets allowed in the church building. Updated Oct. 09
