The Greater Toronto Area Alcoholics Anonymous is hosting its 5th annual Alcathon online zoom conference to provide crucial support to individuals struggling with alcohol addiction during the holiday season.
This year’s event will take place over four days: December 24th from 4:00 PM to midnight, December 25th from 12:00 PM to midnight, December 31st from 4:00 PM to midnight, and January 1st from 12:00 PM to midnight.
Recognizing the heightened challenges that the holiday season can pose for those in recovery, the Alcathon offers a continuous stream of online meetings, featuring a diverse range of speakers, sharing experiences, and offering guidance. This virtual platform provides a safe and accessible space for individuals to connect with others in recovery, find strength in shared experiences, and receive the support they need to navigate the potential pitfalls of the holiday season.
